ABOUT ME
I am a retired Presbyterian Church (USA) pastor with 25 years of consulting with churches in transition and pastors in need of care and guidance. I am a graduate of the University of Washington in Speech Communications and Education. I graduated from Union Theological Seminary in Virginia, where I received my Doctor of Ministry degree. While serving a church in Boston Presbytery, I supervised field study students at Harvard Divinity School. After 15 years in ministry, I enrolled in the Pastoral Counseling program at the Lloyd Center, San Francisco Theological Seminary, completing a two-year academic program in pastoral psychotherapy to aid my work with pastors and lay leaders in the church. I have served congregations of 100 - 750 as associate pastor, solo pastor, interim pastor, and head of staff. I have training in conflict management, church administration, organizational management, leadership development, and pastoral counseling, and have certification in interim ministry. I'm an INTJ, and my Clifton Strengths are Input, Ideation, Deliberative, Belief, and Connectedness. My Enneagram is Number 8 (Challenger).
